What is FBLA?
FBLA is a national career and technical student association for students who are interested in business or business education careers. Over 4,000 students in more than 100 high schools in Nebraska participate in the FBLA program. Benefits of FBLA membership are business proficiency, community responsibility leadership skills, and self-confidence.
When do we meet?
Class & outside of class
Who can join?
Any student who is interested in a career in business or has taken or is currently enrolled in at least one business course is eligible to join. New members are always welcome.
What are the activities of FBLA?
State and national conferences
Participation in FBLA activities as a committee chairperson
Participation in FBLA activities as an officer: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Historian, and Reporter.

Raise awareness of the dangers of alcohol at area elementary schools
School spirit fundraisers at sporting events
Fundraising for March of Dimes
How Do You Get Involved?

Develop competent, aggressive business leadership
Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work
Create more interest in, and understanding of "American Business Enterprise"
Encourage members in the development of individual projects which contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community
Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism
Encourage and practice efficient money management
Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty
Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals
Facilitate the transition from school to post-secondary education and/or work

I believe education is the right of every person.
I believe the future depends on mutual understanding and cooperation among business, industry, labor, religious, family and educational institutions, as well as people around the world. I agree to do my utmost to bring about understanding and cooperation among all these groups.
